MaryAnn Zonka Mrs. MaryAnn Zonka of the Town of Fredonia formerly of Ingleside IL passed away at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Port Washington where she had been residing for the last year.nbsp; She was 81 years old.nbsp; MaryAnn was born in Princeton IL on June 13 1929 daughter of Charles and Dorothy Blake McCarthy.nbsp; On June 1 1946 she was united in marriage with Walter A. Zonka.nbsp; The couple settled eventually in Northbrook and later Ingleside IL.nbsp; Walter preceded her in death in 2003.nbsp; MaryAnn later moved to Wisconsin to live closer to her son and daughter-in-law.nbsp; Mrs. Zonka enjoyed needlepoint and quilting but mostly liked taking care of her family.nbsp; She is the mother of Jim (Ellen) Zonka of the Town of Fredonia the late Melody Ann Mickan and the late Kathleen Treutler.nbsp; She is further survived by 7 grandchildren: Tami (Tim) Gaubatz of Oshkosh Craig (Tammy) Zonka of Middletown OH Jennifer (Butch) Martin of McHenry IL Andy (Kristin) Mickan Woodstock IL Scott Brian and Steven Treutler all of Arlington Heights IL 8 great-grandchildren: TJ Tiana Taylor Kaitlyn Ryan Zachary Sarah and Jacob and 1 brother William McCarthy of Mesa AZ as well as nieces nephews other relatives and friends.nbsp; She is preceded in death by her husband daughters and son-in-law Gene Mickan.nbsp; MaryAnn will be laid to rest beside her husband at Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville IL.nbsp; The family will have a short visitation beginning at 1PM followed by services at 2PM on Saturday August 28th at the cemetery.nbsp; Highland Memorial Park is located at 33100 N. Hunt Club Road in Libertyville IL.
