MARY ANN SCHUERMAN Mrs. Mary Ann Schuerman of Riverview Drive in the Town of Grafton passed away unexpectedly at her residence on February 27 2015. She had celebrated her 70th birthday the day before. Mary Ann was born in Peoria IL on February 26 1945 the only daughter of David and Anna Marie Beckman Hamrick. She grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from St. Mary's Academy with the Class of 1963. Mary Ann was united in marriage with Daniel Sylvester on May 31 1969 at St. Sylvester's Catholic Church in South Milwaukee. The couple lived in Milwaukee and raised three sons before welcoming a daughter later in life. Mary Ann earned her bachelor's degree in Anthropology from UW Milwaukee in 1979 and took her dream position with the Milwaukee Public Museum. Mary Ann later married Michael Schuerman on April 28 2000 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Milwaukee and the couple moved to Grafton. Mrs. Schuerman worked for Robert Baird before taking a position with US Bank as a Security Specialist. She was due to retire this month after 13 years on the job. Mary Ann was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Parish in Grafton as well as a member of the Cedarburg Artist Guild. She had a lifelong talent for painting and her art graces the homes of her family and friends. Mrs. Schuerman also held interests in South Western Native American artifacts and culture anthropology traveling gardening and most recently water gardening. Mary Ann is survived by her husband Michael daughter Ann Marie (Timothy) Felhofer of West Allis sons Bradley (Kristin) Hueble of Milwaukee Jeffrey and Brian Hueble both of Port Washington. She is further survived by 4 grandchildren: Autumn Rain Sequoia Tykota Hueble and Matthew Felhofer with a new granddaughter eagerly anticipated to arrive in June. Other survivors include her former husband Dan Sylvester of Waukegan IL other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be held at 6PM on Monday March 9th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 1619 Washington St. Grafton. The family will receive visitors Monday at the CHURCH from 4-6PM. Memorials are suggested in her name to the St. Vincent De Paul Society.
