Obituary

MARVIN L. EGERER Marvin Egerer age 73 years of N813 County Road KW Cedar Grove died Thursday February 1 2007 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon where he had been a patient for the past 11 days. He was born April 2 1933 in the Town of Port Washington son of Henry and Anna Meirsch Egerer. He graduated from Port Washington High School in 1951 and entered the United States Air Force. On January 31 1959 he married Carol Klein at St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Washington. He worked as a carpenter for many years and retired in 1997 from Kettle Moraine Correctional Institute where he worked as a facility repairman. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Belgium and enjoyed many hobbies including smoking fish gardening fishing hunting reading current events asparagus picking and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Carol six children Ruth Ann (Mitch) Schulta of Cedarburg John (Debra) Egerer of Plymouth Diane (Steve) Jacoby of Belgium Joe (Vickie) Egerer of Port Washington Janet (Dave) Dodson of Cedar Grove and Tom (Chris) Egerer of Cascade 20 grandchildren his mother in law Mary Klein of Houghton MI four sisters Bernice Lunde of Random Lake Geraldine Egerer of Milwaukee Sally (Lawrence) Jentges of Port Washington and Marlene (Gus) Blank of Jackson. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter three sisters and eight brothers. Funeral Saturday February 3 7 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave Port Washington with Vicar Wayne King officiating. Burial in Union Cemetery Port Washington. Visitation Saturday from 4-7 PM.
