Obituary

MARK W. FELLENZ Mr. Mark Fellenz of Norport Drive in Port Washington passed away at his residence early Friday morning May 9 2008. He was 59 years old. Mark was born in Chicago IL on October 8 1948 son of Frank P. and Mary Jane Vanden Bosch Fellenz. His family later moved to the Port Washington area. Mark was one of the original clients of Portal Industries having been with them for 42 years. Mr. Fellenz was a member of St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church in Port Washington where he belonged to the Friendship Group for many years as well as being a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters Court #902. Having spent much of his early youth on his grandparents farm he developed a deep appreciation of all things related to farming. Mark enjoyed travelling all around the US Canada and the Caribbean and frequently went to places that tied in to his love of country music such as Nashville Branson and Graceland. A life- long car aficionado he loved to attend car shows and go to car museums and was a collector of car models of all kinds (but his favorite was Lamborghini!). He also liked to go to Elkhart Lake to watch the races with his family. A kind and gentle soul Mark liked to sing and dance. As a member of the choir at the Portal Mark exhibited a beautiful tenor voice. He often did solos at the holiday programs. He is survived by his parents Frank and Mary Jane Fellenz of Port Washington his sister Julie (Timothy James Neal) Fellenz of Madison three brothers: Bruce (Perm) Fellenz of Merrill Joseph (Cindy) Fellenz of Knellsville and Philip Fellenz of Green Bay. He is further survived by his nephew and nieces: Joseph Fellenz Jr. Holly (Eric) Masengarb Nora Fellenz and Emily Neal aunt Mary Therese Hartig of Grand Rapids MI uncle James (Dee) Fellenz of Beaver PA other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by a brother James. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday May 17 at 11AM at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church 1800 N. Wisconsin St. Port Washington. Father Patrick Wendt will officiate. He will be laid to rest in St. Mary Cemetery Saukville. The family will receive visitors on Saturday morning 10-11 AM at the CHURCH. Mark was assisted in living in the community by IGS and in his last days by Odessey Hospice of Milwaukee.
