Mr. Mark Hajewski of Fredonia, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away at Lawlis Family Hospice Center in Mequon on Tuesday evening, April 23, 2019, while surrounded by his family. He was 69 years old. Mark was born in Milwaukee on March 8, 1950, son of Eugene and Eleonore Tumas Hajewski. He attended local schools and graduated from Messmer High School, Class of 1968. On November 27, 1976, Mark was united in marriage with Diane Glaser in Milwaukee; the couple settled in River West and started their family. Mr. Hajewski was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed fishing, golfing, shooting and playing cards – especially sheepshead and cribbage. In 1983 the family moved to Fredonia, into a house that Mark had built. He is survived by his wife Diane and their daughters Garin (Steve) Krogsund of Wauwatosa and Shana (Eric) Rojahn of Jackson. He is further survived by four grandchildren: Kellan & Carson Krogsund and Stella & Scarlett Rojahn, brothers Dennis (Kathy Serena) Hajewski of Wauwatosa and John (Linda Ruhland) Hajewski of River Falls, sister-in-law Pam Hajewski, also of Wauwatosa, other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Eleonore, and brother Stephen. A Memorial Service will be held at 1PM on Saturday, May 4th at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave., in Cedarburg. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 11AM until services at 1PM. If desired, memorials are suggested to the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society in Mark's name.
