MARIONnbsp; KUKUS Marion Kukus age 94 years of Port Washington died Monday May 17 2010 at Heritage Nursing Home in Port Washington.nbsp; She was born July 2 1915 in Merrill WI daughter of Frank and Kathrina Rothameirer Schmidt.nbsp; On June 27 1936 she married William Kukus in Milwaukee.nbsp; He preceded her in death in 1993. Marion worked in retail management for Arlanrsquo;s Department Stores and F.W. Woolworth Inc. in Milwaukee for many years.nbsp; Marion and her husband moved to Port Washington in 1989 to be closer to her family.nbsp; She was a member of St. Johnrsquo;s Lutheran Church in Port Washington. While living in Milwaukee she was very active in the Lutheran Womens Missionary League and volunteered at Wisconsin Lutheran Child and Family Services.nbsp; Survivors include her son in law Thomas Schmidt of Rhinelander four grandchildren Teri (Ron) Hunt of Antigo WI Mark (Robin) Schmidt of Saukville Steve Schmidt of Port Washington and Chris (Russ) Flexer of East Peoria IL four step grandchildren fifteen great grandchildren and fifteen great great grandchildren nieces nephews other relatives andnbsp; friends.nbsp; She was preceded in death by her husband daughter Patricia Schmidt stepdaughter Marilyn Jahnke three sisters and three brothers.nbsp; Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 22 12 noon at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington with Pastor John Klieve officiating.nbsp; Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery Sheboygan.nbsp; Visitation at the Funeral Home Saturday from 10 AM until time of services.nbsp; In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Johnrsquo;s Lutheran Church or Port Washington Firefighters Memorial Fund appreciated.br /Service:br /p12:00 noon at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W.
