Marilyn A. Johnson Mrs. Marilyn Johnson of the Maple Crest Apartments In Port Washington passed away at her residence on Thursday evening October 16 2003. She was 72 years old. Marilyn was born on March 21 1931 in Milwaukee daughter of Edwin and Dorothy Kath Brueckner. On May 20 1950 she was united in marriage to Douglas A. Johnson at St. Michael's Church in Milwaukee. The couple lived in the Cedarburg area before moving to Memphis TN. Douglas preceded her in death on June 20 2002 and Marilyn moved back to the Port Washington area. She enjoyed knitting baking junkets to the casino and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by 2 daughters Kathleen (Gerald) Bongard of Saukville and Christine (Larry) Oetzel of Shorewood IL 4 grandchildren 2 great-grandchildren 1 sister Carol (David) Melbye of Reedsburg nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband and 1 daughter Karen Johnson. Private services were held. Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington is assisting the family.
