Marilyn Jean (nee Evenson) Arnold, age 63 passed away in the privacy of her home on Monday, April 18, 2016. She was born on March 10, 1953 in Sturgeon Bay to Kenneth and Katherine (nee Jackson) Evenson. Marilyn enjoyed nature and was an avid swimmer. She participated in triathlons and other competitive athletic events. Marilyn cherished her dogs and enjoyed antiquing and furniture restoration. Music was an inspiration in Marilyn's life. She surrounded herself with music at any opportunity. Throughout the years, Marilyn dedicated special time to be with her beloved grandfather Ernie. Marilyn is survived by her daughter Ashley Arnold: mother Katherine "Kitty": sister Bonita "Bonnie" Schmidt: brothers Mark Evenson, Gregory (Karina) Evenson, Mike (Kelly) Evenson: nephews Allan, Blake, Erik, Leif Evenson: great-niece Kailey Evenson. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Marilyn is preceded in death by her grandparents Ernie and Frances Jackson. A visitation to celebrate Marilyn's life will be held on Saturday, April 30th from 12:00-3:00 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home (1600 West Grand Ave. Port Washington, WI 53074).
