Marie volunteered for many years at the Random Lake food pantry and the Adell Senior Center where she helped with Meals on Wheels.

Farming and fishing with her husband brought her great joy and comfort over the years. She always expressed how she missed milking cows with him. Farming was more than a job to her it was a passion. She had a love for all kinds of animals, from farm animals to her cats and dogs. In her later years she enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and playing Bingo with her friends at Gables on the Pond. The most important thing to Marie was her family. She cherished every holiday spent together creating memories that will last for generations to come.
