Mrs. Marie Dodson of Port Washington passed away Sunday March 15 2015 at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Port Washington. She was 78 years old. Marie was born November 10 1936 in the Town of Leon (La Crosse) the daughter of Mingal and Alma (nee Hagen) Gilbertson. On July 7 1970 she was united in marriage with Donald L. Dodson. The couple resided in the Milwaukee area before moving to Port Washington in 1979. Marie worked at the House of Roth in Milwaukee and Glendale where she was a dry cleaner. She enjoyed gambling spending time with her family and spoiling her grandbaby Dakota. Marie is survived by her husband Donald of Port Washington and two children: Laurie (Ronald) Rubio of River Hills and Don (Julia) of Colgate. She is further survived by her grandchild Dakota Mitchell sister Violet Haugsted and brother Chauncey Gilbertson both of La Crosse nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter Debra Randall. Private family services were held. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
