Longtime Cedarburg resident Marianne T. Reid (nee Trello) was Born to Eternal Life on Friday October 6, 2023, at the age of 89. Marianne was born on February 23, 1934 in Springfield, IL, the daughter of John and Emma (nee Gabriel) Trello.
She spent her childhood growing up in Springfield, attending St Aloysius Grade School and Ursuline Academy High School. Marianne was united in Holy Matrimony to Kenneth Reid at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Springfield on November 17, 1956.
Loving mother of Kenneth Reid II, Karen (Duane) Block, Kathi (Tom) Czarnecki, Kevin (Elena) Reid, the late Kellee (Stephan) Wallock and Keith (Renee) Reid; loving sister of Donald Trello and Paula Trello (Carolyn); proud grandmother of Josh (Jo), Justin (Rachel), Shannyn, Nick (Kat), Kyle (Johanna) , Tracey (James), Sean (Monique), Nicole (Ryan), Hannah, Stephanie, Amber (Devon), Alex (Andrea), Jacob and Elli (Kristian); proud great grandmother of Malcolm, Duncan, Mia, Jax, Rowan, Charlotte, Violet and Cora; and her great grand puppies; Finley, Chai and Beans. Further survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Reid I, parents Emma and John Trello, daughter Kellee Wallock, sister Barbara Laursen, brother John Trello, and sister and brother-in-law Marilyn and Leo Hochhalter.
Marianne's family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday October 12, 2023 from 3:30-6:30 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave in Cedarburg, WI, with a Prayer Vigil at 6:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM on Friday October 13, 2023 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2000 E Sangamon Ave in Springfield, IL. Fr. George Nellikunnel presiding. Visitation Friday at the Church from 10:15-10:45 AM. Following Mass, Marianne will be laid to rest next to her husband Ken at Calvary Cemetery in Springfield.
Marianne was devoted to her family, to her Catholic faith and her Chicago Cubs. She was an active and faithful member of Divine Word/St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Cedarburg.

Marianne's family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Horizon Hospice and Cedarburg Health Services for their kind and compassionate care they provided for our mother.
