Obituary

Marian V. Stadler Mrs. Marian Stadler of Belgium passed away Monday morning July 20 2015 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. She was 92 years old. Marian was born August 21 1922 in Saukville the daughter of William and Rose (nee Ney) Stern. On June 9 1945 she was united in marriage with Alois Stadler at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville. Alois preceded her in death in 2000. Marian was a long time member of Divine Savior Parish Holy Cross Chapel where she had been active with the Christian Mothers. She was an avid Brewers fan who had enjoyed square dancing when she was younger doing puzzles stamp collecting quilting sewing gardening and frequenting rummage and estate sales to resell at flea markets. Marian is survived by her children: William of Belgium Elizabeth (Allan) Schumacher of New Berlin David of Kearney MO Nancy (Keith) Mayo of Mukwonago and Diane (Steven) Thome of Fredonia. She is further survived by 7 grandchildren: Amy (Gary) Pepin Matthew (Micah) and Zachary (fianc Rachel) Stadler Jessica and Kyle Mayo and Lydia (Joseph) Huebner and Alyssa Wegner; 7 great-grandchildren: Anna Adiline Aubryn Anders Mckenzie Autumn and Dominic sisters-in-law Lenore Stern of Cedarburg and Rosalia Bach of Random Lake brother-in-law Alfons (Victoria) Stadler of CA nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Alois brother Norbert Stern and sister Jean Shomperlen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 6PM on Thursday July 23 2015 at Divine Savior Parish Holy Cross Chapel 5330 Hwy B in Belgium with Father Todd Budde presiding. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 4-6PM. Marian will be laid to rest beside Alois in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Holy Cross Chapel. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
