MARIAN M. MERRILL Mrs. Marian Merrill of Jefferson Street in Port Washington passed away at Lawlis Family Hospice Center in Mequon early Friday evening September 19 2014. She was 89 years old. Marian was born in Belgium on June 6 1925 daughter of Frank and Rose Anzia Krier. She attended local schools and rode the street car from Belgium to Port Washington to attend High School graduating with the Class of 1945. On May 8 1948 Marian was united in marriage with Frank Wetor at St. Mary Catholic Church Town of Belgium. The couple settled in Port Washington with family before purchasing their own home and settling down. Mrs. Wetor worked at the Port Washington State Bank as a teller. Frank preceded her in death in 1984. Marian retired from the bank in 1988 after 43 years of faithful service. On August 27 1988 she married Eugene Merrill. He preceded her in death on 2006. Mrs. Merrill was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington and was an active member of the choir there. She was also a member of the Senior Chorus from the Port Washington Senior Center. Marian also played piano and played for the residents at Harbor Club regularly. She is survived by her two sons Paul Wetor of Wauwatosa and Daniel (Susan) Wetor of Milwaukee 2 granddaughters Jennifer (Kyle) Osowski of Stevens Point and Monica (Jim) Adams of Reno NV great-grandchildren Isabella and Daemeon and step-great-grandson Naiki. She is further survived by special nephew Tom ( Denise) Helminger special nieces Jane (Terry) Tess and Karen (Wayne Reisenauer) Helminger stepdaughters Connie Phyllis Susanne and Karen other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by 1 sister 4 brothers and step-son Dennis Merrill. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:30 pm on Wednesday October 1 at St. Mary's Catholic Church 430 Johnson St. Port Washington. Father Tom Lijewski will preside. She will be laid to rest the following morning at St. Mary's Mausoleum in Port Washington. The family will receive visitors Wednesday evening at the CHURCH from 4PM until the time of service at 6:30 pm.
