Kern, Maria (nee Stabl) Peacefully passed away on Friday April 7, 2017 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Kern. Loving mother of the late Dr. Joseph (Susan) Kern Jr. and Robert (Lee Ann) Kern. Treasured Oma of Courtney (Andy) Foster, Kristin (Adam) Schaechterle, Joseph Kern, Sarah Kern and Marjorie (Jon) Manning. Preceded in death by siblings; Magdalena Burger, Therisa Russ, Anna Schmich, Josef Stabl, Franz Stabl and Georg Stabl. Maria will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews in the United States, Canada and Austria. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at St. Anthony Church, 1711 S. 9th St., Milwaukee, WI 53204. Interment Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon, WI.
