Margaret E. Richter of Saukville passed away Tuesday May 20 2014 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. She was 80 years old. Margaret was born July 13 1933 in Milwaukee the daughter of Felix and Gertrude Ranft Richter. After graduating from high school she earned a nursing degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College. For 13 years she worked as an LPN at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg. Margaret enjoyed sewing knitting cooking baking and had enjoyed swimming and skating in her younger years. She is survived by her children: Judy (William Dusty) Gales of Milwaukee Mark Steinfeldt of Saukville and James (Yvonne) Steinfeldt of Port Washington. She is further survived by 10 grandchildren 10 great-grandchildren brothers John (the late Pauline) Richter of West Allis and Robert (Elka) Richter of TX best friend Bernie Grimmer of Milwaukee nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents her son William Steinfeldt and her former husband John Steinfeldt. Funeral Services will be held at 1PM on Friday May 30 2014 at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington. Following services Margaret and her son William will be laid to rest at Wisconsin Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 11AM-1PM. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
