MARGARET C. RASSEL Mrs. Margaret Rassel of Highway D in Lake Church passed away at Columbia-St. Mary's Ozaukee Campus in Mequon on Sunday January 7th 2007. She was 82 years old. Margaret was born in Fredonia on January 10 1924 the daughter of Alois and Margaret Holbach Lesch. She was united in marriage with Raymond Rassel on September 6 1947 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Belgium. They lived in Dacada and later moved to their current home in the Town of Belgium. Mrs. Rassel was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church and the Friends of Harrington Beach. She enjoyed crocheting raising African violets and taking care of her family. She is survived by her husband Ray their six children: Larry (Susanne) Rassel Karen (Richard) Gonwa both of Belgium Carol (James) Arentz of Grafton Mary Lou (Wayne) Zelinski of Eagle River Robert (Sandra) Rassel of Waubeka and Donna (Ed) Polgar of Port Washington. She is further survived by 12 grandchildren 7 great-grandchildren 1 brother Gregory (Patricia) Lesch of Ormand Beach FL 3 sisters: Dorothy Plier of Port Washington Gertrude Barnes of Crivitz and Mary Helen (Donald) Burmesch of Belgium a sister-in-law Clara Weyker of Dacada brothers-in-law Herbert (Doris) Rassel of Random Lake and Edmond Rassel of Saukville nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother Elmer. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday 7PM at St. Mary Lake Church. Fr. James Vojtek and Fr. Jim Ernster will officiate. Inurnment will take place in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH Tuesday from 6-7PM.
