Obituary

MARGARET R. NAU Mrs. Margaret Nau of Oak Court in Port Washington passed away on Tuesday January 27 2009 at Dekora Springs in Saukville where she had been residing for the last year. Margaret was born in Cumberland PA on March 3 1922 the oldest daughter of 12 children born to Charles and Elizabeth Dean Laschinsky.nbsp; After her schooling she joined the United States Army.nbsp; She was ldquo;Rosie the Riveterrdquo; working mainly as a sheet metal worker on airplanes and later worked in navigator cockpits.nbsp; This developed a life-long interest in aviation that continued into her later years.nbsp; After the war she became a private care caregiver.nbsp; Margaret was united in marriage with Anthony Nau at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in Milwaukee on July 13 1985.nbsp; The couple lived in Milwaukee until the late 1990s when they moved to the Port Washington area.nbsp; She was a member of Living Hope Lutheran Church and enjoyed art and drawing as well as the lake and traveling around the area.nbsp; She is survived by her husband Tony of Port Washington her daughter Patricia Rother of Milwaukee two grandchildren Heather (Chris) Strong of Sherwood and Spencer (special friend Jamie Turk) Zogg of Durango CO and four great-grandchildren: Noah Nate and Savannah Strong and Spencer D. Zogg. nbsp;She is further survived by her step-children Larry (Pam) Swener of New Berlin and David (Cindy) Swener of Burmen Woods 3 step-grandchildren David Jr. (Amber) Rebecca (Dennis)nbsp; and Missy (John) one step-great grandson Louis 6 siblings: Mary (John) Betonenbsp; and Lola (John) Harrison both of Houston PA John (Karen) Laschinsky of Marianna PA Kenneth Laschinsky of Baltimore MA Betty Musgrave of Independence MO and Edith Yaeger of Mocksville NC numerous nieces nephews other relatives and friends.nbsp; She is preceded in death by 5 siblings.nbsp; A memorial service will be heldnbsp;at 4PM onnbsp;Wednesday February 4th at Living Hope Lutheran Church in Saukville.nbsp;Pastor Marilyn Borchardt will officiate.nbsp;The family will receive visitors at the church from 3-4PM.nbsp; She will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee.nbsp; Memorials are suggested by the family to Living Hope Lutheran Church.nbsp;br /Service:br /p4PM on Wednesday February 4 2009 at Living Hope Lutheran Church./pbr /Cemetery:br /pShe will be laid to rest in Graceland Cemetery/p
