MARGARET L. MILLER "MARGE"
Marge found peace in the arms of her Lord Christmas day Friday, December 25, 2020 with her two sons by her side. She was 89 years old.
Marge was born to Joseph and Eugenia (Breyer) Schommer on August 7, 1931. Marge was raised in Dacada and attended grade school there. She graduated from Random Lake High School Class of 1949.
Marge was united in marriage to Gilbert E. Miller at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Random Lake on August 12, 1950. Gilbert preceded her in death on October 4, 2013.
Marge and Gib spent their first two years of marriage in Fort Knox, Kentucky, while Gib served in the U.S. Army. They returned to Random Lake where they raised their family.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, Christian Women's and Hamm- Miller American Legion Post 145 Auxiliary.
Marge started her career as a telephone operator in Random Lake and later in Kentucky. She also worked as a cook for the Random Lake School District. Marge was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilt making and baking for her grandchildren.
Marge is survived by her two sons Daniel (Maggie) of Oostburg, their children Jason (Tess), Ryan (Tammy) both of Indiana, and Julia (Jamon) Ingelse of Belgium, Michael (Diane), their children Brian (Melisa), Samantha, and Kyle, all of Random Lake; 8 great-grandchildren Zoe Miller, Cade, Saige, Asia Ingelse, Danielle, Charlotte, Ian Miller and Mackenzie Miller. She is further survived by sisters Ruth Heuer of Grafton, Kathleen Thelen of Saukville and Monica (Steve) Franz of South Carolina, brother Robert (Jean) Schommer of Florida, brothers-in-law Merlin (Dolores) Miller of Plymouth, William (Marilyn) Miller of Random Lake, sisters-in-law Pearl Miller of Random Lake, Beverly Miller of Florida, and Mary Schommer of Sherwood.
Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert, her parents, sister and brother-in-law Delores and Jerry Doll, brother Donald "Peanuts" Schommer, brothers-in-law James, Harold and Menroy Miller, Gene Heuer, five nephews and two nieces.
Private family services will take place at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Belgium. Marge will be laid to rest beside her husband in St. Mary's Cemetery, Random Lake.
Memorials are suggested to the Random Lake Rescue Squad or to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Marge's name.
