Marcella Conrad of Port Washington passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in the evening hours of February 23 2015 at Ellen's Home in Port Washington where she had been a resident. She was 95 years old. Marcie was born July 26 1919 in Grafton daughter of William Hennings and Hedwig Oberheu Hennings. Marcie grew up on a farm in the Town of Grafton. She was always a hard worker and never complained. She bought and managed the Mayer Hotel (now the Port Hotel) in 1959. Marcie was an excellent cook planner entertainer and had great pleasure in working and making people happy. She is survived by her four children: Judith (Robert) Binsfeld of Port Washington Jo Ann (Tom) Poull of Port Washington Toby (Andrea) Hornslein of Denver CO and Jaquelyn (Todd) Klister of Shawano. She is further survived by 8 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren one sister Marian Carraway of Ft. Myers FL brother-in-law Elmer Viesselmann of Port Washington her aunt Lorraine Lewin of Milwaukee nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her sister Norma Viesselmann. In accordance to Marcie's wishes private family services will be held at a later date. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is honored to serve the family.
