MARCELLA G. EERNISSEnbsp;nbsp;nbsp; ldquo;MARCIErdquo; nbsp; Mrs. Marcie Eernisse of 4th Ave. in Grafton passed away Friday afternoon October 10th 2008 at Columbia-St. Maryrsquo;s Ozaukee Campus in Mequon.nbsp; She was 79 years old.nbsp; Marcella was born on December 30 1928 in Grafton daughter of Peter and Katherine Schreiner Thelen.nbsp; She attended school in Grafton graduating with the Class of 1946 from Grafton High School.nbsp; Marcie was united in marriage with Mr. Allen ldquo;Skiprdquo; Eernisse on October 13 1951 at St. Josephrsquo;s Catholic Church in Grafton.nbsp; They would have celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary this Monday.nbsp; Marcie was a member at St. Josephrsquo;s Catholic Church as well as a member of the Grafton American Legion Auxiliary and the Grafton Fire Department Auxiliary.nbsp; She loved to play cards (especially sheepshead) golf bowl and take care of her garden but most importantly she loved her family and just loved life.nbsp; Marcie would always dress for the occasion be it Halloween Christmas a Badgers or Packers game and enjoyed each celebration that came along.nbsp; She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren frequently going to their different sporting events.nbsp; Her new great- granddaughter added special joy to her life.nbsp; She will be missed by all who survive her.nbsp; Survivors include her husband Skip their two children Mary Kay (the late Frank) Crowell of Olalla WA and Mike (Brenda) Eernisse of Grafton four grandchildren: Katie Crowell of Olalla WA Nick Crowell of the USNA in Annapolis MD David (Tanya) Eernisse of Grafton and Christopher Eernisse of Madison and great-granddaughter Ava Sophia Eernisse also of Grafton.nbsp; She is further survived by her dear sisters Marguerite ldquo;Margerdquo; Bohlen and Lorraine (Mel) Krick both of Grafton sisters-in-law Arliss (Les) Steffen of Cedarburg and Laura Thelen of Forestville nieces nephews other relatives and many dear friends.nbsp; She is preceded in death by her parents brother Ralph Thelen and son-in-law Frank Crowell. nbsp;A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:30PM on Thursday October 16th at St. Josephrsquo;s Catholic Church 1619 W.
