MARCELLA C. PETERSON Mrs. Marcy Peterson of Woodview Circle in Port Washington passed away peacefully at her residence early Friday morning June 27 2008. She was 98 years old. Marcella was born in Little Kohler on December 27 1909 daughter of Charles and Angela Gerner Neumann. She was united in marriage with Armin Peterson on September 28 1935 in Little Kohler. They purchased a farm on Beech Lane in the Town of Saukville in 1937 farming with their son Jerry. Marcella raised chickens and garden vegetables for selling along with fresh eggs. She and Armin farmed for many years later moving to Saukville after retiring. Armin preceded her in death in 1992. She resided with her daughter Shirley in Port Washington these last years. She continued performing many household chores with great care into her mid-nineties from cleaning to making sure the daily dishes were washed before she retired for the day. Mrs. Peterson is survived by her two children: Shirley (William) Paape of Port Washington and Jerry (Cal) Peterson of Castle Rock CO 11 grandchildren 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. She is further survived by 1 brother Donald (Lois) Neumann of Campbellsport 2 sisters: Violet Wagner of West Bend and Lucille Rollinger of Belgium nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Armin grandson Rick Peterson and 3 brothers: Edward Walter and Charles Neumann Jr.. Private family services were held.
