Manuel Diaz, of the Town of Fredonia, passed away suddenly early Friday morning, July 28, 2017, just a few days shy of his 21st birthday. He was born in Milwaukee on July 31, 1996, son of Lennette Pintor and Lionson Diaz. Manuel grew up in Fredonia and attended local schools, including Random Lake High School where he participated in Wrestling and Football, and was awarded the football team MVP trophy his freshman year. Mr. Diaz enlisted in the US Army, leaving for basic training just a few weeks after graduation. He enjoyed socializing with his friends, often going four-wheeling and playing x-box. His favorite game was Gears of War. Manuel was very passionate about music; his favorite artist was Eminem. Music was a theme that followed him from school into adult life, and he was often playing songs for his family and friends. Survivors include his mother Lennette Diaz of Fredonia, siblings Consuela (Tomas) Reyes of Random Lake, Jasmine Diaz, Michael Diaz and Andrea Wesolowski, all of Fredonia, and special niece Isabelle Reyes. Other survivors include his grandparents Thomas & Vivian Pintor of Fredonia, great-grandparents Manuel & Elaine Pintor of Cedarburg, aunts & uncles Terri (Shane) Rauch of Fredonia, Melissa Childers of Sheboygan and Angel Pintor of Oostburg. He is further survived by his step-father Kevin Scholten, step-brother Jesse Scholten and step-sister Andrea Scholten all of Cedar Grove, cousins, other family and many, many friends. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, August 2nd at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave. in Belgium, from 4-7PM. Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers.
