MAE E. SCHWENGEL Dolly Ms. Mae Schwengel formerly of Jackson St. in Port Washington passed away at Meadow View Manor in Sheboygan Tuesday evening February 28 2006. She was 90 years old. Mae was born on November 22 1915 in Saukville Wisconsin daughter of George and Hulda Wolf Schultz. After completing school she was united in marriage with Harold Schwengel on November 3 1939 at Friedens Evangelical Church in Port Washington. He preceded her in death in 1996. Dolly was a lifelong member of Friedens Evangelical Church in Port Washington where she was very involved with many different activities. Mae was a woman of many talents including being a beautician for many years designing and constructing her home on Legend Lake and owning a stable of show horses Birch Point Stables. She was also the State of Wisconsin TOPS queen in 1959 and had worked at Harnischfeger doing office work for some years. She is survived by 1 son George Schwengel of Phoenix AZ and 2 daughters: Diane (De Verne) Smith of Port Washington and Jean (Tom) Brockley of San Diego CA. She is further survived by 3 grandchildren: Mindi Sharbuno and Kory Smith both of Port Washington and Shannon Brockley of San Diego 5 great-grandchildren 1 great-great-granddaughter a sister-in-law Mary Schultz of Port Washington nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by 2 brothers Ray and LaFern Schultz. Funeral Services for Dolly will take place on Sunday March 5 at Friedens Evangelical Church 454 N. Milwaukee Street Port Washington. Pastor Mark Voll will officiate. She will be laid to rest the next day at Union Cemetery Port Washington.
