MADELINE S. PROM Madeline Prom age 73 years of Grand Ave. Port Washington died early Thursday morning May 11 2006 at her residence. She was born March 18 1933 in the Town of Belgium daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Schueller Ansay. On June 6 1953 she married Sylvester Prom at Holy Cross Catholic Church in the Town of Belgium. Mrs. Prom was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington and was a Eucharistic minister at St. Mary's Church active in Special Olympics Girl Scouts currently service as the treasurer of the National Catholic Order of Foresters since 1968 treasurer of PTI for Developmental Children served as a volunteer at Portal Industries and was the coordinator of candy sales for Ozaukee Special Olympics. Her hobbies included making wedding cakes knitting crocheting needle cross stitch sewing baking and helping organize the annual family 4th of July picnic. Survivors include her husband Sylvester nine children Michael (Rexanne) Prom of Round Rock TX Norman (Joy) Prom of Janesville Doris (Ron) Peterson of Salem WI Neil (Diane) Prom of Appleton Randy (Mary) Prom of Elkhorn Linda (Rick) Mitchell of Port Washington Wayne (Sherry) Prom of Oconomowoc Ronald (Joan) Prom of Grafton and Lisa Prom of Port Washington. one brother Francis (Joan) Ansay of Belgium one sister Marjorie (Richard) Harns of Port Washington one sister in law Luella Ansay of Belgium nieces nephews aunts uncles and other loving relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents one daughter Barbara Nitzke and one brother Arno Ansay. Funeral Saturday May 13 1 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church Port Washington with Father Allan Sommer and Father James Ernster officiating. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation at Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington Saturday from 9:30 - 12:30 PM.
