Madeline Thompson of Cedarburg formerly of Port Washington passed away in the morning hours of Sunday February 15 2015 at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg where she had been a resident. She was 93 years old. Madeline was born in Milwaukee on December 16 1921 daughter John Feustel and Clara Herriges Feustel. She grew up in the Milwaukee area and on October 3 1942 she married Daniel Thompson at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Milwaukee. In 1965 the couple moved their young family to Port Washington. Madeline was a member of St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church in Port Washington. Her faith was very important to her and helped her with her struggle against Multiple Sclerosis for over 45 years. She also was an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers. Madeline is survived by her three children: Joan (Dennis) Baierl of Saukville Daniel (Karen) Thompson of Watertown and Richard (Terri) Thompson of Port Washington. She is further survived by eight grandchildren: Janeen (Wayne) Eisenman of Green Bay Michael (Lynn) Baierl of Saukville Jennifer (Mario) Kapetsonis of Grafton Jason Thompson Kelly (Joel) Wicklund and Brian Thompson all of Watertown Melinda (Jon) Gnorski of Brookfield and David Thompson of Port Washington 11 great-grandchildren nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents her husband Daniel and two brothers John and Leon Feustel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday February 21st at 12 noon at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church 1800 N. Wisconsin Ave. in Port Washington. Father Patrick Wendt will preside. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in St. Mary's Cemetery in Port Washington. Visitation will be held on Saturday February 21st at the CHURCH from 10 AM until 12 noon. In lieu of flowers memorials suggested.
