Lynne Mae Hoffmann, age 81, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon. Lynne was born on September 23, 1938 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Carl and Mae (Murphy) Benz. Lynne graduated from Washington High School in Milwaukee and was married John Bark, who preceded Lynne in death in 1981. On December 17, 1983 Lynne was united in marriage to David Hoffmann. Lynne was a long-time employee of the Cedarburg School District, retiring in 2001. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed reading, gardening and shopping. Lynne is survived by her husband David Hoffmann, daughter-in-law Sue Bark, two grandsons: Colin (Aleshia) and Brendan (Amanda). She was preceded in death by her son Brad Bark. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Jail House Restaurant 897 Pleasant Valley Road West Bend, WI 53095 on Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 1:00 - 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Ozaukee County Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
