Lyndel Etta Davis (nee Schuettpelz) of Grafton, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, at the age of 80.

She was born on March 1, 1946, in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin to loving parents, Russell and Lorraine Schuettpelz. Lyndel married Thomas Davis on April 3, 1971.

After graduating from Suring High School in 1964, Lyn went on to beauty culture school and worked as a beautician at Park Avenue Beauty Salon in Mequon, Wisconsin.

Lyndel is survived by her son Bryan Davis, siblings LaVonne (Stan) Suring, Russell Jr. (Debbie) Schuettpelz, Joy (Patrick) Simpson, Twila (Bill) Gipp, Ellayne (Patrick) Trevor, many nieces and nephews, as well as many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Lyn enjoyed life to its fullest. She was a high school cheer leader and earned a Black Belt in Taekwon-do from the Academy of Martial Arts in Grafton, Wisconsin. Her favorite pastimes were working in her flower beds, reading novels, excelling in cooking delicious meals and watching Packer games. Lyn's love of pets included her dogs and especially her cats. Her time spent at the family cottage on Chute Pond, Wisconsin was her favorite retreat. Lyndel was very active at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton including teaching Sunday School.

Lyndel had many friends and relatives, and her memory will live on forever in our hearts.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3PM on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton, Wisconsin (701 Washington Street Grafton, WI 53024). Pastor Jacob Schultz will be officiating. The family will greet guests from 2PM until the time of the service at 3PM.
