Lyman Loyal Weber, a lifelong Cedarburg resident who lived 90 of his 91 years on Sheboygan Road, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. Lyman was born at home on July 13, 1926 to Lyman Louis and Irma (Jaeck) Weber.
As a young man, Lyman was employed by several local businesses including Hoffmann's Meat Market, Cedarburg canning factory, Musbach shoe factory, and Doerr Electric.
After graduating from Cedarburg High School, Lyman joined the U.S. Navy to serve in World War II and was stationed in Cebu, the Philippines.
After his military service ended in 1944, Lyman returned to Cedarburg where he rejoined Doerr Electric and completed 43 years, retiring in 1988.
Lyman enjoyed bowling, golf, and visiting friends at Lasata Care Center. He was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Lyman is survived by his sister, Lois Weber Reik.
A small graveside service is scheduled for Monday, March 5 at 10:00 AM at Zur Ruhe cemetery in Cedarburg.
