Luella Depies Louisa Mrs. Luella Depies age 87 years of Fredonia passed away on Thursday October 6 2005 at Samaritan Home in West Bend where she had been a resident. She was born ion the Town of Belgium on November 16 1917 daughter of the late Albert and Katherine Pirrung Strauss. On May 24 1941 she married Nicholas Depies at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church. He preceded her in death in 1999. Mrs. Depies was a member of Holy Rosary Parish St. Rose Chapel in Fredonia the Catholic Knights Christian Women and the Luxembourg Society. She enjoyed square dancing playing cards gardening and word puzzles. Luella is survived by her 4 children Harold (Robin) Depies of Grafton Donald (Diane) Depies of Adell Arlene (Fred) Mueller of West Bend and Merlin (Vicki) Depies of Random Lake. She is further survived by 11 grandchildren 15 great-grandchildren 5 great-great grandchildren 2 sisters Elsie Deppiesse of Fredonia and Sidonia (Clarence) Burmesch of Belgium nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband 4 brothers and 2 sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday October 10 2005 at 7PM at Holy Rosary Parish St. Rose Chapel in Fredonia with Father Dick Fleischman officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday October 10th at the church from 4-7 PM. Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family.
