Mrs. Lucille S. Miller Benter Mrs. Lucille S. Miller Benter formerly of Fredonia passed away Wednesday December 5th 2007 at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg where she had been a resident for the past two years. She was 86 years old. Lucille was born in Random Lake on November 21 1921 the daughter of Nicholas and Susan Dimmer Miller. In August of 1948 she married Robert J. Benter Sr. in Grafton. He preceded her in death in January of 1973. Mrs. Benter enjoyed baking cooking traveling and taking care of her flower beds. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and she took much pride in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. Lucille is survived by three children: Susan (Jan) Mixdorf of Slinger Robert (Alison) Benter Jr. of Kewaskum and Steven Benter of Fredonia. She is further survived by four grandchildren: Samantha Timothy Stephanie and Natalie two great-grandchildren: Thaddeus and Jacob and one brother-in-aw Ralph LeFever of Random Lake. Lucille is preceded in death by her husband Robert Sr. three sisters: Leona Marcella and Loretta two brothers: Eugene and Ervin and one great-granddaughter Heather Marie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday December 10th 6:30PM from the Eernisse Funeral Home going to Holy Rosary Parish-St. Rose Chapel in Fredonia for Mass at 7:00 PM. Father Guy Gurath will officiate. Visitation will be on Monday December 10th at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. (Hwy. 33 amp; LL) in Port Washington from 3:30 ndash; 6:30 PM. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the parish cemetery. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
