Loyola A. Barry
Loyola Barry of the Town of Cedarburg, passed away surrounded by her loving family in the afternoon hours of Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg. She was 93 years old. Loyola was born on August 2, 1924 in Two Rivers, daughter of Emil Ellerman and Gertrude Scheuer Ellerman. On June 23, 1945, she married Milton Barry in Two Rivers. Loyola was a long-time member of St. John XXIII Parish (Immaculate Conception) in Saukville, where she was a member of the Christian Women, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was very proud of her service as a Lieutenant with the Civil Air Patrol during WWII. She is survived by her four children: Tom Barry of Prescott, AZ, Eileen King of the Town of Cedarburg, Kris (Tom) Werginz of The Villages, FL, and Liz Wedereit of Saukville. She is further survived by 10 grandchildren: Lindsey, Cavan, Barry, Andy, Betsy, Jack, Brad, Katy, Catherine, and Jamie, 11 great-grandchildren, her sister Janice (Weston) Counard of Green Bay, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Milton. Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday, May 18th at 6 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave., Cedarburg. Father Patrick Wendt will preside. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, Saukville. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on May 18th from 4 PM – 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Cedarburg, is honored to serve the family.
