IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Louise M.
Fellenz
August 31, 1942 – July 3, 2025
Louise M. Fellenz of the Town of Saukville passed away peacefully at StoryPoint Mequon, WI, on Thursday morning, July 3, 2025. She was 82 years old.
Louise was born in Port Washington on Aug. 31, 1942, the daughter of Aloys and Frances (nee Jacque) Solms. She attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in Fredonia and graduated from Port Washington High School in 1961.
On Feb. 17, 1968, Louise was united in marriage to John "Jack" Fellenz at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Fredonia. They started their family and soon moved to the home they built in the Town of Saukville.
Louise was a hotel receptionist, managing check-ins/check-outs and reservations, at the Harborside Hotel in Port Washington and later the AmericInn in Belgium. After she retired, she took a position at her good friend Barbara Theisen's establishment, Barbara's Boutique, and loved spending her time with her friend during the day.
Louise was a faithful member of St. John XXIII Parish. She was an avid reader and loved tending to her flower garden and feeding the birds. While she loved to travel, shop, and occasionally stop at a casino for some fun, there was nothing Louise and her husband, Jack, liked better than a Friday night fish fry and cocktails with friends. Louise was a good cook and according to family made the best Thanksgiving turkey and dressing, never disclosing her secret recipe. In her later years, she loved spending time with her five grandchildren; she was the best grandma ever.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Christine (Matthew) Meyer of Hartland, son Craig (Rhonda) Fellenz of Plymouth; and grandchildren, William and Jackson Meyer, Allison (fiancé Jeremy Pierce), Samantha, and Landon Fellenz. She is further survived by her sister Irene (Larry) Tuchscherer of The Villages, FL, brother Robert Solms of Fredonia, sister-in-law Sharon (Gary) Anzia and brother-in-law Richard (Jane) Fellenz, both of the Town of Port Washington, nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jack; her parents, Aloys and Frances (nee Jacque) Solms; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gerald and Bernice Fellenz; and her sister, Carole Solms.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 18, 2025, at St. John XXIII – St. Peter of Alcantara Church, 1800 N. Wisconsin St., Port Washington, with Father Patrick Wendt presiding.

A private family internment will be held for Louise in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Fredonia later that day.
