Obituary

Louis P. Zadin Mr. Louie Zadin passed away early Friday morning June 12 2015 at Stone Haven in Grafton where he had been residing for the last four years. He was 92 years old. Louie was born Louis Salloum on May 17 1923 in Fennimore WI son of Abraham and Jennie Ganem Salloum. He grew up in southwestern Wisconsin before joining the US Navy and serving during the end of World War II. Louie moved to Kenosha where he was employed by American Motors. He moved to Florida but moved back to Wisconsin in 1970 settling in Milwaukee and changing his name to Louis Zadin. Louie worked for Moggli Dental Studios as a delivery man for many years. In 2010 he moved to Port Washington before moving to Stone Haven in 2011. Louie was an avid horse racing fan and was very pleased to be able to watch American Pharoah win the Triple Crown just a week ago. Mr. Zadin enjoyed reading history watching movies and listening to music; some his favorites were classical and opera. He is survived by his niece Jennie Braun of Port Washington great-niece Laura Muggli of New York great-nephews Steve Muggli of Miami and Paul (Fay) Muggli of Thiensville. He is further survived by great-great-niece Alexandria Muggli of Miami and great-great-nephew Vincent Muggli of Thiensville other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:30PM on Tuesday June 30 2015 at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington. Mr. Zadin will be laid to rest at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove. The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
