Louis Gruman, age 79, of Saukville passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. He was born in Laona, WI, son of the late Arthur and Margaret (nee Herman) Gruman.

He is survived by three children: Tim (Ellie) Gruman, Tracy (Brad) Campbell, and Amy Halls. He is further survived by nine grandchildren: Taylor, Jesse, Samuel and Wyatt Campbell, Sydney, Ashley and Lexi Gruman, and Evan and Owen Halls, as well as sister-in-law Marie Strueben, other family members and friends. Louis was preceded in death by his beloved wife Karen, his parents, brother Jerry, sister Lois and brother-in-law Ludger Majeske.

Louis served in the US Army from 1965 to 1967, stationed in Alaska. He enjoyed hunting and watching the Green Bay Packers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 6pm on Friday, September 9th at St. John XXIII Parish – Immaculate Conception Church, 145 Church Street in Saukville, with Father Patrick Wendt presiding. Visitation will take place at the CHURCH on Friday, September 9th from 4pm until time of Mass at 6pm, with a Military walk-through beginning at 5:30pm. Burial with Military Honors will take place the following day at St. Mary's Cemetery, Random Lake.
