Lorraine H. Hillenbrand Mrs. Lorraine Hillenbrand of 9th Ave. in Grafton passed away at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center in Sheboygan on Sunday afternoon September 11 2005. She was 85 years old. Lorraine was born in the town of Peebles in Fond du Lac county on September 7th 1920 the only daughter of Claude and Mathilda Meyer Hanson. After serving as a WAC in the United States Army Lorraine married Robert Hillenbrand on June 20 1953 in Milwaukee. The couple moved to Grafton in 1955. Her husband preceded her in death in 1998. Mrs. Hillenbrand was a Jehovah's Witness and attended meetings at Kingdom Hall on Hwy C. She was a very active quilter and seamstress having made baby quilts for most all of the children in the congregation and Quiet Books to keep the children busy during services. She was also well known for the Barbie Doll clothes that she made and for her sewing alterations. Lorraine was an active gardener and worked hard at canning and preserving as well. She is survived by 1 son Robert (Janis) Hillenbrand Jr. of Port Washington 1 daughter Bonnie Hillenbrand of Grafton and 1 granddaughter Sara (Ryan) Storck of Port Washington. She is further survived by 1 sister-in-law Teri Hanson of Tampa FL nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Sr. and 2 brothers: Michael and Kenneth Hanson. Funeral Services will be held at Kingdom Hall 2500 Hwy C. Port Washington 1:30 PM on Saturday September 17 2005. Randy Michael will lead the service.
