LORRAINE A. FOWLER Mrs. Lorraine Fowler of Port Washington passed away early Friday morning October 7 2011 at Horizon Hospice in Mequon. She was 90 years old. Lorraine was born March 15 1921 in Port Washington the daughter of Emil and Mary Galles Berger. On July 18 1953 she was united in marriage with Albert Bud Fowler in Port Washington. He preceded her in death in 1955. Lorraine worked at the Port Washington Cleaners and later at the Ozaukee Press where she retired from in 1986. Mrs. Fowler was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington where she had been a member of the Christian Mothers. She was active at the Senior Citizens Center where she enjoyed crafting and ceramics. She was an animal lover who loved feeding the wildlife in her backyard as well as sewing crafts traveling and spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a devoted mother grandmother great-grandmother and friend to all. Lorraine is survived by her sons Bill (Vicki) Fowler of Port Washington and Tom (Cherie) Fowler of Kilmarnock VA and grandchildren: Melissa (Erick) Short Lora (Jake) Waraksa and Jenna (Kerry) Kemp. She is further survived by 5 great-grandsons: Luke Ben Charlie Sam and Max sister Marion Wicinski and nephew John Wicinski both of Port Washington other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Bud daughter Diane Fowler and sister Janis Berger. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:30PM on Monday October 10 at St. Mary's Catholic Church 430 N. Johnson St. Port Washington. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington on Monday from 4-6PM. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Horizon Home Care Hospice 13111 N. Port Washington Road Mequon WI 53097.
