Mrs. Lois Kroeger of Prospect Ave. in Milwaukee passed away at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee following a valiant battle with breast cancer. She was 57 years old. Lois was born in Port Washington on February 2 1958 daughter of Walter and Myrtle Koester Sadowsky. She grew up in Cedarburg graduating from Cedarburg High School as a member of the Class of 1976 and went on to earn an Associate's Degree at Concordia University before moving to Milwaukee. On January 4 1991 Lois was united in marriage with Ross Kroeger at Calvary Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. The couple settled in town later moving to the east side to be closer to friends. Mrs. Kroeger worked as a medical receptionist and greeted patients with her warm and friendly smile most recently at Shoreview Pediatrics. Lois was a loyal and enthusiastic fan of the Milwaukee Brewers an avid reader a movie aficionado a devotee of all of the Milwaukee festivals and the state fair. She loved her friends and was often heard saying she would do anything for them. Survivors include her husband Ross of Milwaukee brother Alan (Sara) Sadowsky of Fredonia sister Joyce (Bruce) Myers of Shorewood and Further surviving are parents-in-law Charles Charity Kroeger of Saukville sisters- and brothers-in-law Judy (Duane) Flom of Port Washington Scott (Kathy) Kroeger of Mequon and Curt Kroeger of Brookfield nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter Myrtle infant brothers Richard Robert Sadowsky and sisters Joan Laabs and Janet Daute. A memorial service will be held Thursday May 212015 at 7:00PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1167 Washington Ave. Cedarburg. Rev. john Klieve will preside. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 4:00PM until the time of service. Memorials are suggested to Make A Wish Foundation.
