LLOYD A. MOTHS Mr. Lloyd Moths of East James Drive in Port Washington passed away at Heritage Nursing Home on Tuesday afternoon December 11 2007. He was 86 years old. Lloyd was born in Port Washington on September 18 1921 son of Julius and Pauline Beimborn Moths. He was a graduated of Port Washington High School and then entered the United States Coast Guard. On March 11 1943 Lloyd was united in marriage with Dorothy Bares at St. Maryrsquo;s Catholic Church in Port Washington. She preceded him in death in 2002. Mr. Moths worked for Simplicity as a machinist retiring after 40+ years of service in 1986. A lifelong member of St. Maryrsquo;s Catholic Church Lloyd sang in the choir and was a member of Catholic Knights the Knights of Columbus and was a member of the International Association of Machinists Local 1430. He enjoyed singing and barbershopping golfing bowling and playing cards. Mr. Moths is survived by his daughters Laurel (Charles) Vierthaler of Monroe and Nina (Donald) Ryer of Port Washington and 2 grandsons Bryan and Eric Ryer. He is further survived by his brother Oliver Moths of Milwaukee sister-in-law Agnes (Charles Jr.) Wolf of Port Washington nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy and 3 sisters: Alice Hettig Mable Klug and Helen Moegenburg. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday December 14th 5 PM at St. Maryrsquo;s Catholic Church in Port Washington . Father Tom Lejewski will officiate. Later Lloyd will be laid to rest beside his wife in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Friday from 4-5PM.
