Lloyd L. Marquardt, 68, of Random Lake, peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2026, surrounded by his family at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center.

He was born on April 5, 1958, in West Bend to Robert and Lorna (nee Stange) Marquardt. Lloyd grew up in rural Random Lake, and graduated from Random Lake High School in 1976. Lloyd married Renee Moths in 1980 at St. Paul’s UCC in Silver Creek. They settled in the Random Lake area. Lloyd worked for A&K Catering, Cornell Motors, West Bend Company, and Lochens as a heavy-duty mechanic. He then went into the Tool and Die trade at Ozaukee Tool & Die, K&L Tooling, then Advanced Manufacturing Technology. Lloyd retired early due to multiple back issues.

After retirement, he purchased a destination trailer, and settled at Lake Arrowhead Campground, in Montello. Lloyd started working part time at the campground fixing golf carts, electrical problems, and general maintenance. During this time, he also helped at Jim’s Golf Carts, BMRE, and Muellers Sales and Service.

Lloyd enjoyed motorcycles, camping, fishing and hunting, and traveling the states. He liked attending races, playing Sheepshead, and watching local sports teams and NASCAR. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Renee, of 46 years; daughters Amy Marquardt (Fiancé Tim Lampman and his son Cole) and Kay (Shain) Benson; grandchildren Kash and Shay Benson, and Miles Lampman; mother Lorna Marquardt; brothers Roy (Dorothy Dunkerson) Marquardt and Glen (LeAnn) Marquardt; sister-in-law Rosanne (Ronald) Peters. He is further survived by nieces and their families, other loving relatives, and many other friends, especially the camping families.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his father, Robert Marquardt, and cousin Mark Stange, as well as many other aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, October 29, at St. John’s UCC (98 Random Lake Rd., Random Lake, WI 53075). The family will greet visitors at the CHURCH from 11 AM until the time of service. Casual attire is preferred, per the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Random Lake Rescue Squad, and St. John’s UCC.
