Linda C. Grisar Linda Grisar age 83 years of Port Washington passed away in the morning hours of Friday February 13 2009 at Harbor Cove surrounded by her loving family.nbsp; Linda was born in Grafton on May 15 1925 daughter of Henry Meyer and Clara Schwengel Meyer.nbsp; On October 19 1955 she married Orville Grisar at St. Johnrsquo;s Lutheran Church in Port Washington.nbsp; Mrs. Grisar was the owner of the Smart Shop in downtown Port Washington for many years.nbsp; Linda was a longtime and active member of St. Johnrsquo;s Lutheran Church where she served as the head of the Altar Guild for many years.nbsp; She was also a former member of the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce.nbsp; Lindarsquo;s hobbies included a love of cooking crafts and traveling.nbsp; She is survived by her three children; Ronald (Kim) Grisar of Grafton Debra (John) Link of Prescott AZ and Peggy (Joel Lanser) Nierode of Port Washington.nbsp; She is further survived by six grandchildren; Lisa Grisar Mark (Fianceacute;e Alyssa Verhagen) nbsp;Grisar nbsp;Anthony (Jenny) LaLicata Michael LaLicata and Ryan and Eric Nierode one great-granddaughter Brooklyn one sister Edna Schaefer of Port Washington one sister-in-law Norma Meyer of Plymouth nieces nephews other relatives and many friends.nbsp; She is preceded in death by her husband two brothers Fred and Walter Meyer and two sisters Esther Tischer and Ruth Fredrich.nbsp; Funeral services will be held on Sunday February 15th at 6 PM at St. Johnrsquo;s Lutheran Church Port Washington with Pastor John Klieve officiating.nbsp; She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Union Cemetery in Port Washington.nbsp; Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday from 4-6 PM. nbsp;Memorials suggested to St. Johnrsquo;s Lutheran Church.nbsp;nbsp; The family wishes to thank the caring staff of Harbor Campus for their kindness and loving care as well as the comforting help of the VITAS caregivers.br /Service:br /pnbsp;6:00 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church 217 N.
