Obituary

LIDWINA M. DEHECK Ms. Lidwina Deheck currently of Sunny Ridge Nursing Home formerly of Milwaukee passed away at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan on Sunday June 4th 2006. She was 85 years old. Lidwina was born in Dacada on March 6th 1921 daughter of Andrew and Lucy Heinen Deheck. After graduating from high school she went on to nursing school. She worked for many years at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee and later worked at various nursing homes in Milwaukee. Ms. Deheck was currently a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish St. Nicholas Chapel and was a former member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Milwaukee where she was a very involved member. She had worked as a Census Volunteer and was a Pro-Life activist being very politically aware during her career days. She enjoyed traveling knitting and making braided rugs. She is survived by 1 brother Edwin Deheck of Cedar Grove nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by 2 brothers: Alfred and Eugene Deheck and a sister Sister Andrew SDS. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday June 8th 7PM at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish St. Nicholas Chapel Dacada. Father Jim Vojtik will officiate. She will be laid to rest in the parish cemetery next to her parents. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 5-7 PM.
