Leroy R. Ernisse, of Cedarburg, passed away in the early morning hours surrounded by family on Friday, March 11, 2022. He was 77 years old.
Leroy was born on April 11, 1944, in Port Washington, son of Walter and Rose (Rausch) Ernisse. He grew up in Grafton and attended Grafton High School. After high school, he honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps. After his return from the Marines, he was employed by Leeson Electric in Grafton for over 25 years.
On March 23, 1996, Leroy was united in marriage to Mary Berggren.
Leroy enjoyed gardening. He was a member of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church and the Peter Wollner American Legion Post 288. Above all Leroy loved spending time with his family the most.
Leroy is survived by his loving wife Mary, beloved children Chris (Michael) Wondra, Tony (Lynne Alva) Ernisse, William Ernisse, Michelle (Jim) Spring, Laura (Scott Collard) Yanow and Nicole (Avery Gray) Ernisse, and grandchildren Dustin, Hunter, Evan, AJ, Maddie, Jake, Seirra, Baby Collard, Andrew, and MacKenzie. He is also survived by brothers Lloyd (Joyce) Ernisse, Jeff Ernisse, Dale (Kristen) Ernisse, sister Jean (John) Diedrich and other family and friends.
Leroy is preceded in death by his parents and three children.
Per Leroy's wishes the family held private services.
