Leona Onie Ott Onie Ott age 88 years of Lasata Care Center formerly of the Town of Cedarburg died Wednesday Oct. 31 2007 at Lasata. She was born July 21 1919 on the family farm in the Town of Cedarburg where she lived until moving to Lasata two years ago. She was the daughter of Emil and Louise Herber Schlegel. On December 14 1940 she married Edward Ott Jr. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton. The couple operated the family farm. He preceded her in death in 1980. Onie was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she was very active for 47 years in the St. Paul Women's Guild serving as the cook. She was active at the Grafton Senior Center helping with the noon meal site program serving as the officer in charge of crafts and singing in the choir. She also enjoyed playing cards. Survivors include her daughter Darlene (Michael) Sukowski of the Town of Cedarburg. She was a special Aunt to the late Wilburt (Doris) Schlegel and special great Aunt to Jim (Sue) Schlegel and his children Dana and Angela David (Pam) Schlegel and the late Tim Schlegel. She is preceded in death by her sister Irma (Krueger) Schmidt. Funeral services will be held Saturday Nov. 3 2 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church 701 Washington St. Grafton with Pastor John Suelflow officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH Saturday from 11 AM until time of services. Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Lasata Care Center appreciated.
