Obituary

Leona D. Noll of Port Washington passed away on January 18th at Harbor Cove where she had been living for almost a year. Mrs. Noll was born in Milwaukee on October 11 1914 the daughter of John and Pauline (Jerczek) Rosewitz. On May 12 1934 she married her love Alton Noll at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. Mr. Noll died in 1975 and that is when Leona became actively involved in the Heart Fund for many years until she couldn't continue anymore. Mrs. Noll was also an election clerk for the Town of Port Washington for 25 years; she was involved in all aspects of that position. Besides all of this she still found time to enter her unbelievable baking skills at the Ozaukee County Fair. Many red and blue ribbons were won. Her family loved that time because if something didn't turn out just right guess who got to eat the so called flops. Mrs. Noll worked at Sprague Electric in Grafton for many years after all her kids were married. Leona also had many talents she loved to crochet and she just knew how to have fun and make people laugh. Her favorite talent of all that was so special was her love for music; she would play the piano and organ every day. Mrs. Noll survived by her two daughters Shirley (Eugene) Large of Port Washington and Mary Jane (the late Robert) Bravi of Saukville. Also her two sons Robert (Carol) Noll and James Noll all of Port Washington. Mrs. Noll has 19 grandchildren 52 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren nieces nephew other relatives and many friends. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her brother Henry Ben and Erwin Rosewitz and great-grand child Melissa Mitchell. Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 23rd at 6 pm at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Mary's Cemetery Port Washington. Visitation will take place on Wednesday January 23rd at the Funeral Home from 4PM until the time of the funeral services. In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to the St. Peter of Alcantara Choir.
