On July 19, 2020, at the age of 92, Lenore Medinger passed away peacefully at Astoria Manor in Arizona. She was born on October 10, 1927, in Port Washington, Wisconsin to Joseph and Dorothy Schowalter. She married Emery Medinger on June 25, 1949 and raised four daughters: Terri Morauski, Laurel Allen, Mara (Dave) Swatek and Jan (Jack) Waite. She was a stay at home mom and wife and lovingly took the best care of her family. Cooking, sewing, gardening and teaching were part of her life. Lenore loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and saw them as often as possible, even after she and her husband Emery moved to Arizona. Grandchildren include David (Staci) Allen, Jenny (Jeremy) Sacho, Odin (Jamie) Waite and Doran (Leslie) Waite. Great-grandchildren include Alexis Allen, Madison Sacho, Alex Waite, Kaylee Waite, Grayson Waite, and Ari Waite. She loved traveling on new adventures to see family and friends and once in awhile going to Vegas, which she was always up for. If you knew Lenore, you knew how much she loved living life. Her sense of humor, her wisdom, her caring for others were all part of what made her special and loved. We ask that everyone that knew Lenore remember her with fond memories and in your hearts.
