LENORE R. HOEPPNER Mrs. Lenore Hoeppner of the Harbor Club in Port Washington died peacefully Wednesday evening May 19 2004 at Columbia - St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon. She was 89 years old. Lenore was born July 24 1914 in Saukville daughter of George and Ida Roskoph Leider. She was united in marriage with Alvin Thome on October 3 1931 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. He preceded her in death. She later married Elwood Hoeppner. He preceded her in death in 1984. Lenore spent many years as a cook in the Union Grove School District. Mrs. Hoeppner was a long time member of St. Mary's Church. She also enjoyed bowling golfing and was an accomplished traveler. She is survived by her two daughters Shirley (Marvin) Parlow and Carol (George) Lucas both of Port Washington 6 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two sister-in-laws Edna Leider and Audrey Leider both of Armstrong WI. She is preceded in death by her husbands one grandson four brothers and one sister. Funeral Services will be held Sunday May 23 4PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. Father James Ernster will officiate. Interment will be in Union Cemetery Port Washington.
