Obituary

LAWRENCE J. FEYEREISEN nbsp; Mr. Lawrence Feyereisen of Hwy K in Cedar Grove passed away at his home late Sunday September 14 2008 surrounded by his loving family. He was 82 years old. Lawrence was born February 25 1926 in Belgium son of Nicholas and Lena Birenbaum Feyereisen. On May 28 1949 he was united in marriage with Rosalie ldquo;Sallyrdquo; Kolbach at St. Maryrsquo;s Catholic Church in Port Washington. Lawrence was a life-long dairy farmer and worked at Bolens in Port Washington for 30 years. Mr. Feyereisen a devote Catholic attended Our Lady of the Lakes St. Nicholas Chapel in Dacada where he was a member of the Holy Name Society. He was also a member of the Luxembourg Society and enjoyed playing sheepshead going to church dinners listening to polka music and farming. His family was the most important thing in his life and he will always be remembered for his million dollar smile. Lawrence is survived by his wife Sally and their nine children: Dennis (JoAnn) Allen (Ellen) Robert (Mary) all of Random Lake Jeffrey (special friend Amy) of Port St. Lucie FL James (Lisa) amp; Edward (special friend Debbie) both of Cedar Grove Donna Feyereisen of Sheboygan Jeanette (special friend Randy) Bley of Plymouth MN and Patricia (Jan) Eernisse of Oostburg. He is further survived by 15 grandchildren: Jason (Kelleen) Brian Katie Melissa Erick (Melanie) Amy (Michael) Laura Jackie Rebecca Elizabeth Nicole (John) Andrew Anthony Hailey amp; Jacob; five great-grandchildren: Molly Hannah Annabelle Madison amp; Elijah and two on the way; one brother Herman (Rosemary) of Belgium three sisters: Elizabeth ldquo;Elsierdquo; Biever of Port Washington Leona Rupp of Fredonia and Genevieve ldquo;Genierdquo; Polenska of Waupun; one brother-in-law Donald (Midge) Kolbach one sister-in-law Joan Fechter of Newburg nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Rev. Nicholas Feyereisen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of the Lakes St. Nicholas Chapel Dacada on Friday September 19th at 7 PM. Father Guy Gurath and Father James Ernster will concelebrate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday from 3 PM until the time of services at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Cancer Society in Lawrencersquo;s name are appreciated.
