Mrs. Laurie A. Schulz of Libby Lane in Adell passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday November 15 2011 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee. She was 49 years old. Laurie was born December 18 1961 in Sheboygan the daughter of Frederick and Gladys Arendt Hagel. On March 21 1986 she was united in marriage with Brett Schulz at St. Paul's UCC in Silver Creek. For the last 25 years she worked as a medical transcriptionist for Aurora. Laurie was a long-time member of New Horizon UCC. She will forever be remembered for her loving heart and willingness to help anyone in need. She volunteered her time and talents at the Random Lake food pantry her church and many other organizations. She enjoyed cooking gardening sewing reading and spending time creating memories with her husband daughters and sisters. She is survived by her husband Brett and their children Annie and Kelly (special friend Dylan Shaver). She is further survived by her loving siblings: Jane (Ron) Rollinger of Port Washington Bill (Sharon) Hagel of Random Lake Mary (Dave) Hausner of Random Lake Thomas (Sherrie) Hagel of Random Lake Steve (Beverly) Hagel of Random Lake Patty (Joe) Hicks of Random Lake and Karen (Keith) Sagal of Adell and brother-in-law Scott Schulz of Random Lake. She is further survived by many loving nieces and nephews other relatives and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Gladys and her in-laws Roger and Irene Schulz. A Memorial Service will be held at 6PM on Sunday November 20 at New Horizon United Church of Christ 9663 Hwy 144 North in Kewaskum (town of Farmington). The family will receive visitors at the church on Sunday from 4-6PM. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested. The Eernisse Funeral Home Belgium is assisting the family with arrangements.
