LARRY L. FLINT Mr. Larry Flint of Northvue Court in Newburg passed away at his home Friday evening December 30 2011. He was 73 years old. Larry was born in Pelan MN on December 13 1938 son of Leonard and Elsie Bloomquist Flint. After his schooling Larry served in the US Navy as a boilerman. On July 1 1961 he was united in marriage with Rosemary Sauer at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Barton. Larry married Lynn Langer Kleinke at St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Washington on November 3 1984. The couple lived in Port and moved to Newburg in 1998. Mr. Flint worked for Trak International in Port Washington retiring in 2000 as a manager in the robotic welding division. Larry was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Washington. His interests included golf oil painting hunting and fishing. He played many different types of guitars and had been in his family's band The Country Kings later The Country Squires playing local venues. Recently Larry had enjoyed going to jams in Saukville and Rubicon. At home he enjoyed vegetable gardening spending time with his family and lavishing attention on his dogs Yoho and Willie. Larry is survived by his wife Lynn of Newburg their five children: Wayne Flint of Saukville Susan Schneider of Kewaskum Cheryl (Curt) Hamlin of West Bend Cherie Gibes of Port Washington and Scott Kleinke of Milwaukee. He is further survived by nine grandchildren: David Victoria Amanda Nicole Stefanie Austin Bryce Morgan and Alysia great-granddaughter Alana nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is also survived by his first wife Rosemary (Ray) Zimdars and close friend Kenny Knoll. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Elsie two brothers : Rudolph and Allen Flint and one sister Elaine Lofberg. Funeral Services will be held at 6PM on Thursday January 5 2012 at St. John's Lutheran Church 217 Freeman Drive Port Washington. Rev. John Klieve will officiate. He will be interred the following day at Union Cemetery in Waubeka. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Thursday from 3-6PM. Military Rites will follow the service.
