Larry James Martin of Batavia went to his Lord and Savior on Sunday July 22nd 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 71 years old. Larry was born July 17 1941 in Milwaukeethe son of James and Lorene Martin. Larry retired from Kohler Company in 2007 where he had worked as an IT Manager. He enjoyed hunting fishing golfing bowling and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Marcia (nee Feldbusch); Sons Jeffrey (Christine) Christopher (Kristin) Michael (Leah) and Andrew Martin; Daughters Nicole (Greg) Gierach and Michelle (Tom) Guell; Grandchildren Travis (Amanda) Tennille (Ryan) Katelyn Megan MacKenzie Noah Colin Brodie and Blake; Brother Richard Martin; Sister-in-law Patricia (Maynard) Andrew; Brother-in-law David (the late Susan) Fox. A Memorial Service will be held at 6PM on Monday August 6 at Zion United Methodist Church Batavia. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for the Sharon Richardson Hospice Center and Zion UM Church. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
